Chasing a target of 181 runs, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are five wickets down vs Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Match 11 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, on Sunday. Ambati Rayudu and Shivam Dube are currently batting for CSK and are trying to build a partnership. Meanwhile, Vaibhav Arora has taken two wickets for PBKS, Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh have bagged a dismissal each. Initially, Punjab posted 180 for eight in 20 overs with Liam Livingstone smashing 60 off 32 balls. Meanwhile, Chris Jordan and Dwaine Pretorius took two wickets for Punjab. Mukesh Choudhary, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja scalped a dismissal each. It has been a poor start to this year’s campaign by the defending champions, who lost to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL 2022 season opener. After the defeat to KKR, CSK followed it up with a defeat to debutants Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), losing by six wickets. CSK are currently eighth in the 10-team standings, with Punjab in seventh place.
