New Delhi:
Shah Rukh Khan, who was MIA for quite some time, is making up for his online absence – one hilarious post at a time. SRK, who earlier posted about wanting to start an OTT platform called SRK+, might have to wait a bit longer. On Thursday, SRK featured in another advert for Disney+Hotstar, in which he talked about how excited he is for the launch of SRK+. Taking a leaf from the viral Pushpa dialogue, Shah Rukh Khan says, “SRK+ launch ke liye ready. Entertainment ab rukega nahi.” Only to be told that he might have to wait for while. “Salman kuch kar rha hai kya?” asks SRK. To which he is replied that Ranveer Singh’s 83, Ajay Devgn’s Rudra are already streaming on Disney+Hotstar. Not to mention IPL. When SRK asks what to do about his OTT platform, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap answers: “Thoda ruk jate hain Sir.”
Disney+Hotstar, sharing the video captioned it: “Sorry Shah Rukh Khan, aapko hamari wajah se baar baar alvida kehna pad raha hai apne plans ko. #ThodaRukShahRukh.” To which SRK replied, “Abhi toh matches dekh raha hu, phir tumhe bhi dekh lunga Disney+Hotstar walon.”

The trending hashtag #ThodaRukShahRukh is not a rare phenomenon on Twitter. Every time SRK features in a new Disney+Hotstar video, the hashtag goes viral. Earlier this month, SRK shared a list of ideas that were already taken. So Twitter contributed to the trend and how. Popular brands offered SRK alternate options to invest in. “Dil toh pagal tha, ab dimaag bhi kharaab kar diya Disney+Hotstar walon ne,” tweeted the actor.

SRK ‘s ab-tastic reply to the brands came in the form of this picture and a caption that read: “Shah Rukh agar thoda Rukh bhi gaya toh Pathaan ko kaise rokoge.. Apps aur Abs sab bana dalunga.”
