Actor Shah Rukh Khan has praised ‘lil one’ Alia Bhatt for sharing the responsibility of co-producing her upcoming film ‘Darlings‘. SRK quote tweeted Alia’s tweet and said he will also be biting his nails till it releases. The trailer of the film was released on Monday. Ahead of the trailer launch, Alia Bhatt also shared the images on her Instagram handle and captioned it as: “It’s DARLINGS day,” followed by a sun emoticon. The film is being produced by Alia through her banner Eternal Sunshine Productions in collaboration with SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
“Lil one I am also so anxious that u shared the responsibility of Eternal Sunshine Productions first film with me…that I will be biting my nails till it releases. But I feel we have a lovely film and u r the soul and sunshine of all things Darlings,” Shah Rukh Khan said in his tweet.

Sharing the trailer of her film on Twitter, Alia Bhatt had tweeted, “My first film as a producer!!! So excited nervous thrilled emotional to share it with you!!!!”
The film also stars Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma and will start streaming on Netflix from August 5.

In the ‘Darlings‘ trailer, Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah file a missing complaint against Alia’s husband Hamza (Vijay Varma). However, there is a twist. The mother-daughter duo kidnaps him in their own house, and the reason behind kidnapping Hamza is justified in the trailer.
On the work, Alia Bhatt has several films in her kitty – Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ with Ranbir Kapoor. The film is slated to release in the theatres on September 9, and her Hollywood debut movie ‘Heart of Stone‘ with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
